Aesthetic Nursing was the path that Dr. Karoline da Silveira found, during the pandemic, to change her professional journey with more confidence, purpose, and sustainable growth. Working in traditional nursing care, she felt that, despite her dedication and care for people, something no longer made sense in the routine she followed.

In 2020, the opportunity arose to move into the aesthetics field. It wasn't an impulsive decision, but a strategic one. Dr. Karoline saw in Aesthetic Nursing the chance to combine what she had always enjoyed (human contact) with autonomy, professional recognition, and a career with its own identity.

“During the pandemic, the opportunity to work in Aesthetics came up. Since I'm from Nursing, I like working with people, but I wasn't finding myself anymore. I moved into the field in 2020.”

Aesthetic Nursing and clinical confidence: theory before practice

From the start of the transition, Dr. Karoline understood that confidence is not born from practice alone, but from well-structured knowledge. For her, Aesthetic Nursing requires study, organized clinical reasoning, and clarity before any application.

“I like having theory classes first, writing, organizing everything, and then coming to do the practice.”

This care is directly reflected in how she communicates with patients. Being able to explain indications, limits, and expectations turns the appointment into an experience of trust, not just the execution of procedures.

“Having a solid foundation, even when talking to the client and making the sale, conveys much more confidence. It really does make a difference.”

In Aesthetic Nursing, this clarity is essential for building professional authority and lasting relationships.

When looking for a specialization, Dr. Karoline did her research, compared institutions, and spoke with other professionals in the field. Even though she is from Joinville (SC), she decided to study in Curitiba after realizing that Nepuga offered something beyond technical practice: market vision, a solid theoretical foundation, and legal fundamentals essential for anyone working in Aesthetic Nursing.

“I researched a lot, talked to people, and it's funny: everyone had either studied at Nepuga or talked about it. Even though I'm from Joinville, I chose Curitiba.”

Another point that pleasantly surprised her was the online class format, which often generates initial resistance.

“Sometimes we're prejudiced against online classes, but they clear up a lot of doubts. They're very explanatory.”

In addition to supervised practice, the inclusion of content on law, ethics, and professional responsibility gave her even more confidence in her work in Aesthetic Nursing, preparing her to make informed decisions in the office.

Why Aesthetic Nursing at Nepuga builds confidence

The decision to keep investing in her training also came from institutional recognition. Time in the market, an established reputation, and positive reviews from other students were decisive.

“I trust Nepuga's training because of the recognition it already has, the time it has been in the market, the comments, the reviews, and the practices it delivers.”

In Aesthetic Nursing, where the professional deals directly with self-esteem, image, and health, this backing makes a difference. Experienced instructors, exchange among peers, and real clinical immersion help refine the eye, strengthen clinical judgment, and avoid hasty decisions.

Aesthetic Nursing as a project of growth and autonomy

Dr. Karoline's next steps are well defined. The focus now is to grow in the place where she already works, gain clinical maturity, and, in the future, have her own practice. All of this without losing the purpose that brought her to Aesthetic Nursing: raising women's self-esteem through responsible, humanized care.

“I have a lot of expectations. First, I want to keep growing where I work. Then, in the future, to have my own space. And to grow professionally, seeing my clients and raising women's self-esteem.”

Her journey shows that Aesthetic Nursing is not just a change of field, but a rebuilding of professional identity. When supported by study, practice, and ethics, this choice stops being a risk and becomes a strategy.

By turning doubts into direction and knowledge into confidence, Dr. Karoline is building a solid career, with an entrepreneurial vision and a real commitment to care.
