Clause 1 – Purpose and Objective
1.1. The purpose of these Regulations is to provide for the organization, operation, rights, and duties of participants in the Nepuga Top Creators 2025 Competition, which is exclusively institutional and promotional in nature, is not conditioned on any mandatory teaching activity, and is not tied to academic assessment.
1.2. The Competition aims to encourage the participation and engagement of NEPUGA's student community through interactive activities, focused on the world of aesthetics and student life, using a gamified methodology.
Clause 2 – Platform used
2.1. The Competition will be managed through the digital platform Gleam.io, which offers tracking, scoring, and participation verification features and is hosted in its own environment.
2.2. Interactions and tasks will take place exclusively on the Study Portal, NEPUGA's virtual environment, and Gleam will be used only as a system for recording, verification, and tallying.
2.3. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out authenticity and compliance checks through the features offered by that platform.
Clause 3 – Participation
3.1. All students regularly enrolled in NEPUGA's postgraduate programs, masterclasses, and open courses who have access to the Study Portal, NEPUGA's virtual environment, may take part in the Competition on equal terms.
3.2. Joining the Competition is optional and voluntary. Choosing not to participate will not result in any academic, assessment-related, or disciplinary harm to the student.
3.3. By joining the Competition, the student declares awareness of and unreserved agreement with the terms of these Regulations.
Clause 4 – Seasons and scoring
4.1. The Competition will be divided into Seasons, each lasting three (03) months.
4.2. At the end of each Season, an additional period of up to 60 (sixty) days will be granted so that students who joined during the cycle can complete tasks and take part in the final scoring.
4.3. The winners of each Season will be determined based on the highest number of points accumulated in the tasks made available during that season.
4.4. In the event of a tie in the final score between two or more participants at the end of a season, the following tiebreaker criteria will be applied, in this order:
- The participant who accumulated the highest number of points from video submissions made during the season will be declared the winner;
- If the tie persists, the winner will be the participant who submitted the highest number of valid testimonials to the platform within the Season's actions;
- If the tie remains even after the previous criteria are applied, the Sponsor may hold a drawing among the tied participants or declare more than one winner, at its sole discretion, respecting the principles of transparency and fairness.
Clause 5 – Tasks and themes
5.1. The tasks to be completed by participants during the Competition will be educational, creative, and interactive in nature, and will always be related to the world of aesthetics and to the academic and professional practices of the field.
5.2. The official announcement of tasks will be made through the Study Portal and NEPUGA's institutional communication channels, and it is the participant's sole responsibility to follow those posts to stay informed about the challenges available in each Season.
5.3. Each task will have a preset score, ranging from 50 (fifty) to 500 (five hundred) points, depending on the level of complexity, engagement, and criteria defined by the Competition organizers.
5.4. Validation of task completion will be performed automatically by the Gleam platform, which will audit and control the actions without any manual intervention by the Promoter. Verification of authenticity and compliance with the rules will be based on the technical parameters and data provided by that platform.
5.5. The Promoter reserves the right to add, change, replace, or remove tasks, as well as to adjust the score assigned to any activity, provided that such changes are announced in advance on the official channels and respect the principles of equal treatment and transparency among participants.
Clause 6 – Awards
6.1. In each Season, the participants who achieve the highest score, as tallied by the Promoter, will be declared winners and will be entitled to the prize provided.
6.2. The winners will be announced within 60 (sixty) days after the end of the cycle, through a post on the Study Portal and communication via institutional email and WhatsApp.
6.3. Prizes will be delivered through direct contact with the winners, who must confirm their details for shipping.
6.4. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be converted into cash, unless the Promoter decides otherwise.
Clause 7 – Integrity and conduct
7.1. Sharing codes, custom links, or any other means that results in an unfair advantage or manipulation of the scoring system is prohibited.
7.2. The finding of fraud, attempts to cheat the system, false information, or any conduct incompatible with these Regulations will result in the participant's immediate disqualification.
Clause 8 – Image rights
8.1. By participating in the Competition, the student expressly authorizes the Promoter's free use of their image, voice, name, videos, and photographs submitted in the context of the tasks, for institutional promotion, advertising, and social media.
