The Nepuga 2023 Academic Excellence Project aims to recognize and reward students who stood out from January to December 2023 in the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Programs offered by Nepuga.

II - Stages
Art. 2 The criteria for student qualification are:
- For a student to take part in the awards, the satisfaction survey will be considered a qualification criterion; it takes into account the perception the student assigns throughout the subjects and the institution (higher education institution, or HEI).
- All students who answered all of the satisfaction surveys and gave a score higher than 7.0 are automatically qualified.
- Scores from 7.0 to 10.0 carry the same weight and do not count as a tiebreaker criterion.
- Those who gave scores equal to or lower than 6.9 are automatically disqualified from rankings and awards.
- Students who rated Nepuga on Google Business Profile with 4 or 5 stars will also be qualified. Those who gave 3 stars or fewer will be disqualified from rankings and awards. It is important to note that these ratings are not considered for tiebreaking.
- Candidates who have administrative proceedings at the institution, have a complaint filed on Reclame Aqui (a Brazilian consumer complaint platform), or have overdue tuition payments or re-enrollment will be automatically disqualified.
- Candidates with attendance below 75% (seventy-five percent) will be automatically disqualified.
Art. 3 All students regularly enrolled in NEPUGA's lato-sensu specialization courses during 2023 compete for the Award, as provided in the Postgraduate Regulations (TITLE III, CHAPTER I, articles 10 to 13).
Art. 4 The criteria for student ranking are:
- For each category, the student with the highest average score at the end of the 2023 academic cycle in the aforementioned courses/specializations is ranked as the winner – 1st (first) place, followed by 2nd (second) and 3rd (third) place.
- There is no ranking or award for 4th (fourth) place onward.
- Overall Course Average: calculated by adding the scores of all subjects, divided by the total number of subjects in the course. Note that the overall course average follows the current Lato Sensu Postgraduate Regulations of NEPUGA, of Faculdade Ana Carolina Puga – FAPUGA.
Art. 4 Participating students will be disqualified if they have: Administrative Proceedings; Overdue tuition or re-enrollment; Attendance below 75% and/or a History of complaints on any unofficial communication channel.
Art. 5 When a tie occurs between two or more participating students, a tiebreaker criterion is applied to determine the winner. This measure ensures an interactive process, giving each participating student the chance to stand out in the event of a tie, making the competition more dynamic and exciting.
