See what the expectations are for 2022 at Nepuga!
We are reaching the end of 2021 and the feeling is one of gratitude for the many achievements of this academic year. Fapuga's academic and general director, Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, together with the faculty of the Higher Education Institution, is planning big projects for the coming year.
“2021 was intense, productive and full of achievements for FAPUGA. And all of this was the result of excellent teamwork, in which we prioritized quality in delivering content to students, as well as the well-being and safety of the teachers; after all, we had some turbulent months this year. Although we faced many challenges, we overcame them and here we are, strong and steady and full of energy to enter 2022 at full force and make a difference once again,” says Dr. Ana Carolina.
Despite the pandemic and the adoption of remote classes, we are closing this year with a positive balance and with great expectations for 2022 at Nepuga.
According to Fapuga's Undergraduate Programs Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Thais Carmo, both students and teachers made a great effort in using technologies in the teaching and learning process.

“The pedagogical project of the programs must be dynamic, flexible and always open to market needs.” In a society that changes so quickly, it is essential for educational institutions to have tools to adapt their proposals in an agile way.
Expectations for 2022 at Nepuga for the Councils
Another point worth highlighting was the participation of student representatives in the Program Councils. Involving students in academic discussions allows their expectations, wishes and difficulties to be understood by teachers and administrators.
The Changes for the New Year!
Several changes are planned for 2022: the adoption of active teaching and learning methodologies in which students become the protagonists of their own learning, the holding of the 1st Film and Management Cycle, open to both the FAPUGA internal community and the public, the offering of extension courses and postgraduate courses in Health Management, and the establishment of partnerships with hospitals for hands-on activities and internships.
“We have many plans and hope that 2022 will be a great year for FAPUGA. Our intention is to build a reference institution in the field. Merry Christmas and a new year full of achievements for all of us!”
