A recent Biomedicine graduate, Dr. Danielly Magalhães found in aesthetics a way to combine passion and personal fulfillment. With a qualification in Aesthetic Biomedicine obtained through clinic internships, she realized there was still one essential step missing to reach her goal: working with injectables. Today, through a postgraduate program in the field, she seeks not only technical depth but also a professional transformation.
From Model to Biomedical Professional: A Passion for Aesthetics
Since childhood, Danielly has always shown an interest in the health field, but it was in her last year of high school that biomedicine caught her attention. Although she was initially interested in forensic science, her experience as a model and her affinity for beauty and self-esteem opened doors to a new passion: aesthetics. “I fell in love. It was a field that really moved me, because I have always been vain and liked aesthetics,” she recalls.
During the internships she did throughout her degree, Danielly dove into procedures such as massages and facials, which were essential to her initial learning. However, she quickly realized she wanted more. “I wanted to work with injectables, especially fillers and botulinum toxin, which are in high demand. That was when I thought: ‘I need to do something that is fundamental for me.’”
The Quest to Work with Injectables
The aesthetics market has been expanding exponentially, and working with injectables is a special highlight, since they are among the most valued, delivering visible and impactful results.
For Danielly, the desire to specialize in this field was intensified by a personal experience. When she performed a botulinum toxin procedure on her own mother, she saw up close how these interventions can transform lives. “I saw a big difference in her and said: ‘I want this, because it makes a big difference.’”
Despite the aesthetics training the internships provided, Danielly felt that this experience was not enough to work safely with injectables. That is when she decided to invest in a postgraduate program, where she is learning the techniques needed to ensure excellent care and avoid professional errors. “I am learning so that I do not make mistakes. That is essential for anyone who wants to grow in this field,” she explains.

The Impact of Procedures on Patients' Self-Esteem
One of the aspects that most motivates Danielly on her journey is the impact aesthetics has on people's self-esteem. She highlights how small adjustments can bring about big transformations in the way patients see themselves.
“People cry because they change something on their face that they did not like before. They thank me by saying: ‘You lifted my self-esteem, you made me a new person.’ That is incredible,” she says.
This emotional connection with patients is also reflected in Danielly's view of personalized care. She believes that offering exclusive treatment, by appointment and with time dedicated to each patient, makes all the difference. “I want my patients to have a moment just for themselves, without competing with other people. That is a differentiator I want to bring,” she explains.

Planning a Promising Future
As she moves forward in her postgraduate program, Danielly is already starting to set up her own clinic, a dream that reflects her determination to offer a high-quality, innovative service. Among her ideas is creating special packages, accompanied by small gifts for patients. “Little gifts attract people quite a bit and make the experience more special,” she says.
Focused on injectables, she is certain this is the field that will give her the greatest personal satisfaction and professional impact. And, at the same time, she continues to inspire others with her story of overcoming obstacles and dedication.
Dr. Danielly Magalhães's journey is an example of how the pursuit of continuous learning and passion for what you do can open transformative paths. For her, working with injectables is more than a professional goal – it is the opportunity to transform lives and raise the self-esteem of every patient who crosses her path.
