Do You Know the Difference Between Teaching Clinics and Nepuga/FAPUGA Campuses?

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) often use two different terms to name their teaching units. At Nepuga/FAPUGA this happens too, but in practice, do you know what sets them apart?

Although both terms refer to physical spaces attended by the institution's students, there are some characteristics that distinguish them. The main ones are infrastructure and location.

Teaching Clinic

Nepuga/FAPUGA's teaching clinics live up to the name. They are complete clinics, with an environment designed to give students a clinical immersion similar to what happens in the workplace.

Located in the main capitals and metropolitan areas of the states where the HEI operates, the teaching clinics are permanent locations that the institution maintains to serve students. 

So, hands-on classes can be scheduled at the teaching clinics located in the following cities: Belo Horizonte – BH, Campinas-SP, Curitiba-PR, Florianópolis-SC, Goiânia-GO, Porto Alegre-RS, Ribeirão Preto-SP, Rio de Janeiro-RJ, Salvador-BA, and São Paulo-SP.

Keep in mind that although the teaching clinics have a dedicated space for Nepuga/FAPUGA students, support is provided through digital channels on the Student Portal and the Relationship Center on WhatsApp.

Campus

Nepuga/FAPUGA campuses have the physical structure students need to take hands-on classes and leave the postgraduate program much more confident in applying the techniques.

In general, the institution's campuses are not necessarily permanent and may be housed in spaces rented by the institution and properly equipped with the materials needed to receive students.

This way, the institution can be closer to undergraduate and specialization students, especially those who live in cities in the interior of the state and choose to do their clinical immersion at a nearby location.

So, hands-on classes can be scheduled at the campuses located in the following cities: Belém-PR, Brasília-DF, Campo Grande-MS, Cuiabá-PR, Fortaleza-CE, Juiz de Fora-MG, Londrina-PR, Recife-PE, São José do Rio Preto-SP, São José dos Campos-SP, São Luís-MA, Uberlândia-MG, and Vitória-ES.
