How do you plan to start your professional life as an aesthetics specialist? That question is not part of Giovana Jacomini's thoughts. The aesthetic nurse will begin seeing patients by exploring the local market in her hometown, thanks to the little competition in the sector.
Giovana is from Cafelândia and graduated in nursing, studying in Lins, and from a very young age she already intended to work in aesthetics. Very image-conscious, she always had an affinity for caring not only for herself but also for others, which ended up leading her to a nursing degree.
Prepared for this new phase of her life, Giovana has already completed four more postgraduate programs and a master's degree, focusing on her future and on providing the best care to her patients very soon with the opening of her own clinic.
Financial dissatisfaction led the nurse to seek aesthetics
Giovana Jacomini is a postgraduate student in aesthetic nursing with big plans for her career after the specialization. In the near future, she already plans to start seeing patients at her own clinic in the city of Cafelândia, where she has lived since she was born. Giovana also holds four other postgraduate degrees and a master's degree in stroke (cerebrovascular accident), proving that her concern for growing and improving as a professional will lead to a great career.
This transition from nursing to aesthetic nursing came from the devaluation of the career, including the low pay for nurses. Although passionate about what she does, Giovana feels she can do more as a professional, and entrepreneurship in aesthetic nursing is a chance to achieve the financial return she longed for when she entered health care. Giovana sees in aesthetics not only a source of income but also personal and professional fulfillment.
“As you know, nursing is not professionally valued, which is why I did other postgraduate programs, but it's really hard to get a good financial return in nursing ”
Giovana currently has worked for three years in Lins, where she moved in search of opportunities closer to her hometown. She feels happy and fulfilled for all the effort devoted to her education and recognizes that facing challenges is part of the process.
”Everything new brings fear, butterflies in your stomach. Opening a clinic in an area with so many qualified professionals is a big challenge. But I'm confident. I know my potential and what I can offer”.

Aesthetic Nurse Will Start Practicing by Exploring the Local Market
The move into aesthetics represents a new chapter in Giovana's life, as she finds in this field a true passion. Despite the fear of the unknown and of competing with established professionals, she is determined to open her clinic and begin seeing patients, taking advantage of an underexplored market in her city.
“As soon as I finish the postgraduate program, I'm going to start seeing patients. I'm going to open my clinic and start practicing right in my own city. It's a small city without many professionals, which is a benefit, a good market. I'll start small, open a little room, but from here on it's only growth”.

It is in the face of adversity and dissatisfaction that we realize the need for change. Giovana has the courage to move forward and face the obstacles in this new venture. Responsibility to her future patients and to her own career is a process she handles with great skill and seriousness.
Giovana understands that to reach her goals she must take risks. By sharing her skills with classmates, she gains new abilities and contributes to others' growth as well as her own. The uncertainty the future holds fades into the background and achievements become reality.
