Dr. Ana Carolina spoke to graduating students at the 2nd Biomedicine Symposium at Unisanta

Last Friday (22nd), in the auditorium of Universidade de Santa Cecília (Unisanta), Dr. Ana Carolina spoke to graduating students at the 2nd Biomedicine Symposium for the second consecutive year. Dr. Ana was welcomed by the institution's biomedicine program coordinator, Carlos Eduardo Pires de Campos.

According to Carlos Eduardo, the invitation came because of Dr. Ana's prominence and authority on the subject, who gave students an overview of aesthetic biomedicine and its well-established track record, which has influenced the training of more than 50,000 aesthetic biomedical professionals in facial harmonization through the innovative Pugacode® method.

Last year the doctor appeared alongside leading names in aesthetic biomedicine in her first participation in the Biomedicine Symposium. Her talk was titled “The Importance of Aesthetics in Biomedicine,” shedding light on the opportunity biomedical professionals have to start their own businesses and find success offering treatments in Aesthetic Health.

The mother of aesthetic biomedicine also had a few surprises at the talk. Moments before her participation, Dr. Ana attended the talk by Dr. Eduardo Peres Bastos, a professor and resident at Hospital Albert Einstein, who had been her student when she taught in the city. Dr. Eduardo spoke about hemotherapy, a treatment in which a predetermined amount of blood is collected and, after processing and analysis, the blood components can be transfused to another person, helping to treat disease and improve the person's condition.

In introducing Dr. Ana Carolina, coordinator Carlos Eduardo said there is no one better qualified to speak about Aesthetic Biomedicine.

Recalling her own journey in the talk, Dr. Ana highlights the key moments that led her to aesthetic biomedicine, including the challenges she faced in Santos, the city where her passion for this field blossomed. She stresses the importance of persistence, staying true to projects and trusting your intuition as fundamental elements for success.

During the discussion about the biomedical professional's role in facial harmonization, Dr. Ana emphasizes the creation of Pugacode®, whose principles were defined by the students themselves, who recognized its effectiveness, safety and cost-efficiency. In conversation with Carlos Eduardo, the importance of training and regulating professionals is highlighted, in order to ensure the quality and safety of procedures.

PugaCode® and WVCodes® Marking are techniques developed by Dr. Ana Carolina Puga for facial harmonization. They encode the key points of the face, ensuring personalized and safe facial harmonization results. These approaches take into account each patient's unique characteristics, preserving the natural look of the face while correcting asymmetries and promoting rejuvenation.

Giving talks is a source of great pride for Dr. Ana, because in addition to reliving important moments of her life, she sees it as an opportunity to transform the lives of future aesthetic biomedicine professionals, empowering and inspiring them to follow this path with competence.

Giving talks in the city of Santos, at Unisanta, has a special flavor, since Dr. Ana has strong ties to the city. A resident of Santos with a special fondness for the University, it was on the São Paulo coast that she began her journey to win the right for biomedical professionals, and later other health specialties, to work in aesthetics.

Dr. Ana is an inspiration both as a renowned aesthetic biomedical professional and as a successful businesswoman. Many of those present look to her path to achieve success in their own careers, showing the positive impact she has on those who listen to her.

At the end of the talk, Dr. Ana is given a gift in recognition of her contribution, and takes the opportunity to interact and take photos with the students, even revealing the presence of a student who took an advanced training course in aesthetic biomedicine. This meeting reinforces the mutual commitment to excellence and progress in the field, inspiring and being inspired by every step taken in the fascinating journey of aesthetic biomedicine.
