For years, biomedical professional Dr. Luciana Ceribelli split her routine between working at a bank and her passion for the beauty field. Raised inside a hair salon, the environment has always been part of her life, and even while building a career in economics, she never stopped working behind the scenes in the industry. However, the exhausting pace of a double shift, between bank hours and appointments on weekends and holidays, took its toll, making the need to seek professional stability in aesthetics even more evident.
She spent 13 years juggling both activities, until the moment of clarity came: it was time to look for something that truly brought her satisfaction and quality of life. Luciana decided she no longer wanted a job that demanded so much physical effort and took time away from her family. The solution? Invest in aesthetic biomedicine and achieve the long-desired professional stability in aesthetics.
The transition was not immediate. At first, she intended to take a postgraduate program in trichology, but the pandemic changed her plans. With health restrictions in place, she chose to start her biomedicine degree in the distance-learning format and later moved on to in-person classes, where she discovered a completely new universe. Even though she began her training with an emphasis on clinical analysis, aesthetics was always her ultimate goal.

After graduating, she decided to enroll in the postgraduate program right away, because she knew every minute counted for her new path. The choice of institution was decisive: from the first contact, she felt secure and welcomed. More than training, she found support that drove her decision to move into aesthetic biomedicine and reach her professional stability in aesthetics.
Today, Dr. Luciana Ceribelli is about to begin her practice as an aesthetic biomedical professional, combining her vast experience in the hair field with injectable procedures. Unlike salon appointments, which can last hours, aesthetic procedures offer a higher financial return in a shorter time, allowing her to organize her schedule in a more balanced way.
“Of course, the financial upside in aesthetics dazzles us. But it wasn't so much about the money, it was because I truly like it and see that there's this possibility of organizing my schedule with more autonomy and flexibility. Having time to rest too, time with family… Of course the financial return is important, but for me time with family is essential,” the biomedical professional emphasizes.
The opening of her clinic is on its way, and her clientele is already eagerly awaiting the new phase. The dream, though recent, takes shape every day, bringing not only stability but also the freedom to work at what she loves without giving up her quality of life. “Even though this dream is a recent one, I want to achieve it in the best possible way and be happy,” she concludes.
Physical exhaustion and the search for professional stability in aesthetics
Luciana has always loved the beauty industry, but she knew the routine of a hair salon was exhausting. The work demands many hours on your feet, long appointments, and intense physical strain. On many days she works more than 12 hours, without adequate time to rest. This affects her health, well-being, and personal life.
With the transition to aesthetics, her routine is changing. Now, she will be able to set her own hours, reducing working time and maximizing her earnings. A hair procedure can take hours, while an aesthetic procedure can be completed in under 30 minutes. This change is allowing her to work less and earn more, giving her more time for herself and her family.
The importance of qualified training in aesthetics
Throughout her journey, Luciana realized that qualification is a differentiator in the market. Choosing a high-quality postgraduate program not only gave her confidence but also expanded her possibilities. With the skills she is developing, she can offer more advanced and safer treatments to her patients.
Her goal is to establish herself in the market, offering high-standard procedures, always focused on patient safety and satisfaction. With a long-term vision, she plans to expand her space and become a reference in the field.
A promising future with professional stability in aesthetics
Dr. Luciana is only at the beginning of a new phase, but the results are already visible. Recognition from her clients and the possibility of lighter, more profitable work are making her transition a true success. After all, the clients she sees at the salon already show interest in the advanced aesthetic procedures she is training to perform.
With determination, study, and love for the field, she is building a more balanced future, proving that it is possible to find professional stability in aesthetics and fulfillment without giving up quality of life.
