Dr. Felipe Ajala, Body Aesthetics Specialist

Dr. Felipe Ajala is an Aesthetic Biomedical Professional with a degree in Biomedicine from UniMAX – Max Planck University Center in São Paulo-SP, and a postgraduate degree in Aesthetic Biomedicine. The body aesthetics specialist is building a successful career in the field and shares his testimony about his experience.

“I have heard many times that aesthetics is frivolous! From every kind of person you can imagine! It is not frivolous when your self-esteem is restored and you start looking at life through different eyes, when you manage to overcome shyness and break free from the chains that hold you back. It is not frivolous when you accept yourself, when you love yourself. Frivolous is judging others without weighing their efforts and their pain. Live what makes you feel good!”

Owner and director of an aesthetic clinic in São Paulo, Dr. Felipe Ajala is one of NEPUGA's alumni. He says the secret to his success is dedication and interest: “That is what defines where we will end up,” he declares.

The aesthetic biomedical professional says that when choosing an educational institution, he sought information from the Federal Council of Biomedicine and received recommendations from some of his professors. “And I was even one of the only people in Brazil to receive a scholarship and to be the tutor of the São Paulo class I was part of. The classes were sensational and dynamic.”

Career path in body aesthetics

He says his career is only just beginning and that he plans to invest even more in knowledge and specializations. “Although I have been working in my clinic for 3 years, let's say I have had experience with aesthetics and beauty since I was very young, since my family comes from this field. For me, the contact that this qualification in particular gives us is easy and enjoyable,” he says.

From his postgraduate classes, Dr. Felipe remembers the warmth of Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, MSc. “She is an incredible professional, above average, who fought hard to be where she is and so that we could be where we are today. I remember her teaching us patiently, with a lot of affection, a true mother, the mother of aesthetic biomedicine,” he says.

In a new venture, in addition to providing aesthetic care and procedures to his patients, a new line of work has emerged. Dr. Felipe also teaches advanced aesthetics courses in botox techniques, facial harmonization, body aesthetics, and definition.

When asked whether he has already reached his goals, Dr. Felipe says that he gets closer every day. “I believe dreams change with experience and with desires. I am different from when I started in this field and, tomorrow, I will certainly be different from today. I was born in the midst of beauty and aesthetics, and I saw in this field an independence that no other field could give me.”

Passionate about aesthetics and about knowledge, the body aesthetics specialist never stops investing in his career. That is why, in addition to attending advanced courses and conferences in the field, he is balancing his second postgraduate degree in Physiology and Metabolism at USP with his medical degree at UniMAX.

After specializing, the Aesthetic Biomedical Professional continues to devote himself to his career and studies:

“Understanding what my patient wants and creating ways to reach that goal is part of who I am. I look, I pinch, I draw, I erase, I draw again, I ask the patient to pose one way, then another, to turn to the side… now the other. And so we create, together, what can be the fulfillment of a dream. And you wonder, ‘But is a defined abdomen really someone's dream?’ I tell you that if it is possible to dream it, it is possible to achieve it. Do not judge other people's dreams, or use your own yardstick to decide what is worthwhile and what is not.”

With great influence on social media and an audience of more than 21 thousand followers on Instagram, Dr. Felipe inspires professionals in the field to follow their dreams, and his patients to go after the result they have always wanted. “Thank you to my patients for the constant trust and affection!
