Seeking to bring more quality education to other cities across the country, Nepuga opened three more support campuses in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil.
According to Nepuga's academic director and founder, Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, this expansion has one goal: to train more quality aesthetic professionals.
“The goal of Nepuga's expansion is precisely to give more healthcare professionals the opportunity to enter Aesthetics, specializing at a quality institution. It took time to study the main areas of aesthetics, analyze the market, and decide on these three cities”, she explained.
With these new support campuses, Nepuga now has 27 units in more than 10 states across Brazil.
A Greater Presence in the Aesthetics Education Market
The strategy followed by Nepuga's managers to train aesthetic professionals was to expand service where demand is high, which is the state of São Paulo, and to enter a new state, Santa Catarina.
“The hybrid teaching model we implemented at Nepuga after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic was very beneficial and positive for Health professionals, precisely because they have more freedom to study and still do so with quality. However, we know we have postgraduate students in different cities across the country, mainly in São Paulo (state) and also in Santa Catarina, where we had neither a campus nor a unit”, said Dr. Puga.
Expanding into a new state, according to the director, was not only to meet the demand of postgraduate students, but also so that this pioneering institution can be present across much of the country.
“We want to deliver the best aesthetic professionals in Brazil to the market and to society, and we will only do that by providing quality education. Being present in more cities makes it easier to reach our goal and fulfill the institution's mission of transforming our students' lives. Not being present in a region that needs what we deliver, transformation through specialization in Aesthetics, is a mistake, and that is why we also opened a campus in Santa Catarina, in the city of Joinville”, concluded Dr. Ana Carolina Puga.
Support Campuses in Joinville, São Bernardo do Campo, and Sorocaba
Nepuga has two types of units where postgraduate students complete the clinical immersion stage: teaching clinics and support campuses.
Unlike the permanent units, support campuses are set up only for the hands-on practice and are closed after the clinical immersion period in the city.
Nepuga chose to have this type of unit in several regions of the country in order to reach as many professionals as possible, delivering quality teaching and the most complete experience inside an advanced aesthetics clinic.
With these three new campuses in the cities of Joinville, São Bernardo do Campo, and Sorocaba, Nepuga has a total of 18 support campuses in different regions of Brazil.
To schedule at any unit, whether a teaching clinic or a support campus, postgraduate students simply log in to their portal, open the option to schedule hands-on classes, and see which units are available.
