We have reached class 500 at Nepuga, a very meaningful number for us and for our history. After all, it has been more than 15 years working on the mission of changing people's lives for the better – especially the lives of health professionals – through Aesthetic Health training.
Our history is long and began in October 2010, when Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, founder and director of Nepuga, went to the plenary session before the Federal Council of Biomedicine (CFBM, Brazilian professional council), presented her life's work on the role of biomedical professionals in Aesthetic Health, and won the professional's authorization to work in this field.
After that victory for biomedical professionals, other professionals, also disappointed with the job market and living with exhausting work schedules, such as pharmacists and nurses, also took up the fight to win authorization in Aesthetic Health. And they succeeded!
We are proud of our history and of everything we have built so far. More than 40,000 health professionals, such as biomedical professionals, nurses, pharmacists, biologists, physiotherapists, aestheticians, dentists, physicians, and many others have been – and still are! – part of all this with us and let their stories be told alongside Nepuga.
The health professionals who decided to work in Aesthetic Health gained, through it, the professional autonomy, flexible hours, and financial stability they were looking for.
With every class that begins, we overflow with happiness to see that our mission of changing lives has been fulfilled every day, for so many years. We tell our story and we want to tell yours too.
