Leandro Spatafora is an aesthetician determined to reach new horizons in his career. With a degree in Aesthetics and Cosmetics, he found in the aesthetics field the ideal path to combine his passion for transforming people’s lives through self-esteem and well-being. His journey, marked by conscious choices and a drive for specialization, now begins a new chapter with the Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Health.

From the start of his professional training, Leandro was interested in fields involving aesthetics. When choosing his undergraduate degree, his doubt between Dentistry and Aesthetics and Cosmetics was settled when he saw in the latter a program focused exclusively on the aesthetic field, with the potential to open doors to the long-dreamed-of specialization in facial harmonization.

“I’ve always loved this field, being able to make a difference in people’s lives”, says Leandro, who sees in appearance care much more than a superficial matter: it’s a bridge to raising clients’ self-esteem and well-being.

The Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Health to Go Further

His career initially headed toward cosmetology, working with dermocosmetics in drugstores and compounding pharmacies focused on skin care. Despite the enriching experience, his real interest was always in working with aesthetic procedures. However, his aesthetics training did not include injectable techniques, which led him to seek in the Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Health a training that would fill that gap.

Today, Leandro works at an aesthetics clinic, where he focuses on non-injectable procedures such as facials, microneedling and other treatments that make up protocols important to final results.

However, he feels that training in injectables is the essential next step toward his professional goals. “After the postgraduate program, I imagine I’ll give my career a glow up, because it’s the part I really like”, he says enthusiastically.

The Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Health stands out for its emphasis on techniques such as facial fillers, botulinum toxin and collagen biostimulators. For him, these procedures are transformative because, combined with non-injectable treatments, they deliver complete results to patients.

“These procedures have a super effect and add a lot to my techniques. I want to be able to deliver even better results to patients”, explains Leandro, envisioning a promising future in the field.

“It’s an investment to work more completely and with more peace of mind”

Beyond the direct impact on the quality of the treatments offered, Leandro also sees the importance of grounding his practice in legal security and technical backing.

Although the law allows aestheticians to perform non-invasive injectable procedures, he believes that recognition of a specific professional council for aesthetics and cosmetics would be essential to ensure greater legal protection in cases of complications.

With that concern in mind, Leandro is already planning the next steps of his education. After the postgraduate program, he intends to enroll in the Biomedicine program, which will allow him to obtain registration with the Conselho Regional de Biomedicina (CRBM, Brazilian professional council).

“I want to have much more backing, more security. It’s an investment to work more completely and with more peace of mind”, he reflects.

Leandro also notes the exponential growth of the aesthetics market and feels motivated by the broad demand for qualified professionals. For him, the sector keeps expanding, and there is room for everyone dedicated to delivering quality results. “The field just keeps growing, so if you deliver a good result, success and profitability follow”, he concludes.

Leandro Spatafora’s story is an example of determination and strategic vision in the pursuit of professional fulfillment. With the Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Health and the desire to keep investing in training, he is charting a solid path toward an outstanding career, in which he will be able to transform lives and achieve his own dreams.
