Dr. Ana Carolina Puga Talks About Aesthetic Health Training on a Podcast

Dr. Ana Carolina Puga took part in episode number 113 of the podcast and videocast “Seeutôlá PodCast”, where she spoke about her journey and her fight to create aesthetic biomedicine, as well as mentioning training in aesthetic health.

The podcast, produced in Pontal (a city near Ribeirão Preto-SP), is hosted by the couple Alan Jones Fernandes and Juliana Sanchez Fernandes.

Dr. Ana Carolina Puga’s Fight

On the occasion, the Mother of Aesthetic Biomedicine talked about her career path, recalling the most important moments.

It was an occasion to bring inspiration to professionals looking to fulfill some longing in their careers – whether to innovate, start a business, or go after that idea that has been sitting at the back of the drawer:

“I think we have to believe in our dreams, because things start happening and show you the way. We have to be alert to know whether you’re going to go or not, and that’s where courage comes in, your faith and your determination.”

But above all, the conversation is very enriching for healthcare professionals who may not yet know the field, or who may still have prejudice toward aesthetics; Dr. Ana even comments that, in her experience.

“Those who go study end up having their interest in the field awakened”.

And she recounts the events that led her to fight for the consolidation of Aesthetic Biomedicine, which inspired the advancement of Aesthetic Health in the fields of Nursing, Dentistry, Biology and Pharmacy as well, in addition to the professions still fighting for due recognition.

Training in Aesthetic Health

The conversation also addressed the quality of the academic training available, questioning whether or not it adequately prepares professionals for the job market, which demands complex skills, often beyond more limited curricula.

That is why Dr. Ana emphasizes: “I don’t teach procedures, I teach how to be a successful professional.”

If you don’t know the details yet, it is worth checking out the stories that are part of this journey, told in a more relaxed conversation; or showing it to people who are not yet familiar with training and careers in aesthetics.

The episode that tells it all about aesthetic health training is available in full and can be watched and listened to on the podcast’s YouTube channel. Check it out:
