Conceived by Prof. Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle of 2021 was a success.
With almost a thousand registrants over the three days, the third edition aimed not only to promote the professional development of students and the health community, but also to raise and improve the entire event infrastructure.
The 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle had more than fifteen staff members working directly on production, in addition to the support of the Institution's other departments and the speakers.
Besides promoting development and spreading news and updates from the Aesthetic and Integrative Health market, and with the aim of benefiting participants even more, the event was sponsored by two major brands, Estética Bio and Emmy, which donated seven products to be raffled off during the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle.
Behind the Scenes
Planning for the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle began right after the second edition. Seeking to transform the lives of Aesthetic and Integrative Health professionals, Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, the mother of Aesthetic Biomedicine, decided in the last Cycle to bring news from the aesthetic market.
But updates and innovations also happened inside Nepuga.
One of the changes was in the setting for the presentations and the band. Unlike previous editions, the production sought to bring elements of Nepuga to the 3rd Lecture Cycle, such as its colors and visual identity.
Teamwork
Every staff member worked to make the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021 the best of the year. However, some had such a positive impact that they deserve to be highlighted here. This is the case of the Marketing and Information Technology (IT) departments.
A large part of the production was carried out by these departments. In Marketing's case, besides promotion, the team worked to bring even more of Nepuga's character to the event.
The designers created a visual identity for the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle that conveys exactly what the Institution seeks with its academic events: to share the innovations of the Aesthetic and Integrative Health market.
In addition to Nepuga's colors, elements referencing Health and Technology were also used to reinforce this idea.
Another highlight was the audiovisual team, who developed incredible productions such as the bumpers, opening, closing and promotional videos for the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle.
The Information Technology team, known here at Nepuga as “the IT guys,” worked on the computing side of the event, mainly providing support to participants of the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle.
The work done by IT was also essential for the whole event to take place. Because it was online, all the technology on the part of Nepuga and the speakers had to work as well as possible.
Even with a few setbacks, the team worked together, making the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021 the best and most complete edition of the year.
The Filhos da Puga
It would not be possible to talk about the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021 without mentioning one of the event's big attractions: the Filhos da Puga.
Made up of staff members Arlon Fiora, Gabriel Silvestre and Rafa Puga, this band is exclusive to Nepuga. Besides working together at the Institution, the three musicians are also part of other prominent Rock and Pop bands.
During the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021, it was possible to hear both singers. This happened not only because of their partnership on stage, but also because, as they sang different styles, they sought to respect and highlight each one's: Arlon with rock and Gabriel with pop.
The band was highly appreciated by event participants for making the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021 even more interesting and more relaxed, blending quality academic content with good music.
Expectations for 2022
At the end of the last day of the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021, after the closing, the staff members who worked directly on production and support gathered and talked about the event's success.
During the meeting, while they talked about expectations for the next Cycles and discussed points for improvement in production, support and promotion, the staff were surprised with pizzas.
At Nepuga, valuing its professionals is one of our strengths and part of the Institution's policy. Actions like this are just one way of showing gratitude and recognition for all the effort staff members put in to offer the best to students and to the Aesthetic and Integrative Health community.
Motivated by the results of the 3rd Nepuga Lecture Cycle 2021, the staff and its creator, Dr. Ana Carolina Puga, already have great expectations and are structuring the 2022 editions.
