Find Out How to Start Working in Aesthetics After Your Postgraduate Program [7 Procedures]

Men and women are increasingly seeking health care. That is when aesthetic procedures come in. Those in the field must be wondering: how do you start working in aesthetics? For those enrolled in a postgraduate program, we have the answers!

1 – Facial cleansing

Facial cleansing is already very well known in Brazil and is currently the top choice among aesthetic procedures, for women and men alike. The main goal of the treatment is to remove layers of the skin, extracting blackheads. This leaves the epidermis more even. It is a simple treatment, great for those just starting out.

2 – Plasma jet

The plasma jet is performed with a device. And the name is suggestive: a discharge of plasma onto the tissue, producing heat and inducing a thermal injury in the most superficial layer of the skin. Plasma jet treatment is for facial rejuvenation and for wrinkles and stretch marks. This is yet another answer to the question of how to start working in aesthetics.

3 – Microvessels

The PEIM course gives health professionals the chance to refine their techniques using substances such as hypertonic glucose. The treatment focuses on varicose veins, considering that it is in high demand among Brazilian women.

4 – Biostimulators

Aesthetic treatments can also be combined with electrostimulation devices that use excitomotor currents, such as biostimulators. With them, it is possible to achieve body control according to the patient's wishes. They are well known for reducing localized fat and cellulite, making them a great idea for how to start working in aesthetics.

5 – Enzymes

Enzymes can be applied through intramuscular or intradermal techniques. The first aims at slimming and body weight loss. The other focuses directly on localized fat rather than overall fat. From the first class of the course you can also perform these applications.

6 – Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency is another answer for those wondering how to start working in aesthetics. It works with a device that emits electromagnetic waves, producing controlled heating that is applied to the skin. As a result, it can deliver positive results for skin laxity, localized fat and rejuvenation.

7 – Microneedling

Another idea for those starting out in professional aesthetics is microneedling, indicated to soften wrinkles and improve stretch marks. An interesting point is that the technique can be applied from the first days of hands-on classes in the postgraduate program.

Bonus: botox

A curiosity that also relates to how to start working in aesthetics, and is worth considering, is that botox, which is also taught in class, can be used on people from an early age. That is because it also works as a preventive measure against the appearance of wrinkles.

However, keep in mind that the effect of botox is not permanent, and new applications are needed over time. Even so, botulinum toxin has several positive effects and can last up to 6 months, depending on the muscle where it was applied.

The procedure is considered minimally invasive and has fast results, which usually appear after 48 hours.
