Here are students' most recurring complaints and Nepuga's responses

Message from Dr. Ana C. F. S., from Nova Ubiratã/MT – Class 471 | 06/2022

“I think you could organize better when releasing the clinical immersions. It makes things a bit harder for those who live far away, more in the countryside, and depend on the clinical immersion to finish the postgraduate program.

As for the service, I have no complaints; the few times I needed it I got a response.”

Team Collab Response

Hello, Dr. Ana! The Clinical Immersion at Nepuga takes place in two ways: by appointment, according to available spots at all 9 Teaching Clinics; and on a scheduled basis, on set dates, at our support Campuses.

We note that students who live in the countryside, in smaller towns far from one of the capitals, also have the opportunity to do their practice at the Teaching Clinics. It depends on travel availability and each professional's schedule. And we assure you that even the classes at our campuses have a schedule so that they reach all of our students.

Message from Dr. Daiane C. R. S., from Duque de Caxias/RJ – Class 468 | 06/2022

“I started the postgraduate program in 2021, scheduling the practical classes was quite difficult, service via WhatsApp was very complicated, and some people who started with me and were in the same class decided to put their enrollment on hold because of the delay in getting help from the institution.

I chose to take my practical classes later because my son is a newborn. This year I noticed that service via WhatsApp improved; at least the times I needed it, it was very quick and all the agents were able to clear up my questions.

Regarding scheduling the classes, I noticed there were more spots than before and I was able to book very quickly. The professors who taught the classes on Zoom are excellent and very attentive, always ready to clear up questions.

What upset me the most was that first practical class. I felt completely out of place, I watched a lot, but didn't put anything into practice, my class didn't progress, and the only explanation for that is that I didn't start with a particular course.

Once again I needed service via WhatsApp and was very well taken care of. Now I hope to carry out my practical classes with excellence.”

Hello, Dr. Daiane, thank you very much for your feedback, telling us how you noticed the improvements we have implemented at our Institution. We are constantly evolving to serve you better.

Regarding your experience with the Clinical Immersion, there will be 12 sessions, and we are sure you will soon be able to change your perspective. What your classmates report is that they come out of that experience confident and ready to carry out their own appointments.

Message from Dr. Maiara A. S., from Porto Alegre/RS – Class 490 | 06/2022

“I really liked your service. Sometimes there is a delay, but I know how big the demand is.

The classes are wonderful, with plenty of content, and we are able to absorb it too.

The only thing confusing me is the practical activities that must be submitted on the day of the practical class. In semiology and assessment I understood what to submit, but in Electrotherapy I didn't understand what has to be submitted or not; I went to the forum, but it left me confused there too.

So I would like it to have a place there, as in semiology, that says activity for practical class and explains what to submit, because I still haven't understood.”

Team Collab Response

Hello, Dr. Maiara, as you pointed out yourself, our service for registrar matters can clear up all your questions about the practical activities. We recommend that you pay attention to the service channel and fill in the requested information, and we are sure you will be helped within the proper timeframe.

Satisfaction Survey | April-June 2022

Courses 01 to 04 – Module 1

Analyzing figures 01, 02, 03 and 04, covering the first 04 courses (module 01) of the students interviewed during their respective postgraduate programs, a predominantly positive evaluation was observed, with most reporting being satisfied (ranging from 90% to 94%). In the first quarter of 2022, we had an average satisfaction ranging from 88% to 94%, so a slight improvement in performance can be seen.

Courses 05 to 08 – Module 2

Looking at figures 05, 06, 07 and 08, covering courses 05 through 08 (module 02) of the students interviewed during their respective postgraduate programs, a predominantly positive evaluation was observed, with most reporting being satisfied (ranging from 88% to 95%). For the set of module 02 courses, we had an increase in positive evaluations: in Q1 the rating ranged from 87% to 94%, and now in Q2 it was 88% to 95%.

Courses 09 to 12 – Module 3

Considering figures 09, 10, 11 and 12, covering courses 09 through 12 (module 03) of the students interviewed during their respective postgraduate programs, a predominantly positive evaluation was again observed, with most reporting being satisfied (ranging from 89% to 96%). In line with the increase in satisfaction in Q2, there was significant growth in the ratings for the module 3 group of courses: we saw a 6% rise in the share of students who were very satisfied, satisfied and partially satisfied.

Courses 13 to 15 – Module 4

Finishing the analysis, figures 13, 14 and 15, covering courses 13, 14 and 15 (module 04), show that the students interviewed at the end of their respective postgraduate programs still give a predominantly positive evaluation, with most reporting being satisfied (ranging from 88% to 89%). The last set of courses, module 4, was rated remarkably well in this second quarter, going from the first-quarter average of 81% to 89% in this second quarter.

You can check the Satisfaction Survey for the courses from January to March 2022 in the April Newsletter.

Responding to student requests and demands

1. In June, the Information Technology (I.T.) department continued developing the new student study portal, which is in alpha version. The platform brings bug fixes, a new experience for students, plus more dynamic and more secure navigation. Practical class scheduling will also get a new version, which is under development.

Alpha version of the new study portal.

2. There are still spots available for the Orofacial and Surgical Harmonization (HOF) class starting in August. The Postgraduate Program lasts 12 months, with a course load of 500 hours. The entire faculty of the specialization is made up of dentist-surgeons who are references in the market. To introduce the professors to the postgraduate students and provide an immersion into the world of HOF, Nepuga has been holding, since May, a series of livestreams with our specialist professors covering certain procedures within Orofacial Harmonization. See the calendar below and stay tuned on Instagram @nepugaposgraduacao.
