Here are the compliments and words of gratitude we received

Here are students' most recurring complaints and Nepuga's responses

Message from Dr. Antônio B. A.S., from Fortaleza/CE – Class 461 | 05/10/2022

“Regarding the postgraduate program, it disappointed me in terms of organization. The hands-on classes were very poorly organized, with classes too large for just one instructor, and the materials available for carrying out the practice left a lot to be desired as well.

The institution adapted well to remote teaching, I have nothing to complain about there. The synchronous classes worked well and making the classes available on the portal also helped a lot so I could watch them later.

Regarding customer service, it was initially terrible. Contact with the institution only through WhatsApp makes things very difficult, especially when some criteria for completing the program are not clarified. Sometimes the response took days. The lack of a number the student can call to ask questions is a big gap and leaves a lot to be desired. However, I believe this problem is being resolved, since my latest requests, questions, and contacts were promptly resolved.”

Team Collab response

Dr. Antônio, we appreciate your change of perspective and your recognition of our continuous improvement over these years of the pandemic. The support channel is indeed exclusively via WhatsApp, and we stress that this move toward technology is irreversible for all organizations in Brazil and around the world.

Like you, many colleagues feel anxious for quick answers and, currently, our tickets are being cleared daily, meeting the response deadline well within 48 hours.

We stress that every kind of academic question must be answered based on the Fapuga General Bylaws and the Nepuga Postgraduate Program Regulations. Therefore, for almost all matters related to the Academic Registrar's Office, you need to submit your request via Request Form through the Student Portal. We meet all review and response deadlines, which generally exceed at least 07 days.

If you wish, we can offer more hands-on classes at the teaching clinics; it will be a pleasure to welcome you at our units.

Message from Dr. Juliana P. S., from Araraquara/SP – Class 462 | 05/02/2022

“Whenever I contact you I am very well taken care of. Regarding the survey, I feel dissatisfied with this clinical immersion model that is being adopted; unfortunately, not everyone has the availability to be away on weekdays to take the classes.

Other than that, I have really enjoyed the program, the instructors, and all the staff who have helped me so far are excellent.”

Team Collab response

Dr. Juliana, the clinical immersion model is highly praised by practically all of our colleagues and no other higher education institution in Brazil can deliver an educational experience at this level. Like you, other colleagues also don't have time during the week to attend classes, and we advise organizing yourself in quarterly, semiannual, or annual cycles, rather than weekly or monthly. Set aside a few days of the year, such as vacations, breaks, or long holidays, to complete the hands-on outpatient classes (clinical immersions) in a concentrated way, that is, most or all of the classes taken at once.

This is how our students are able to complete the hands-on course load and gain the confidence they need to work in their own offices, in job openings, and/or on their own. A small sacrifice compared to everything you gain when you receive your Nepuga specialist certificate.

If you have further questions, please get in touch again, as we can suggest other strategies also adopted by several other students. Remember that, in addition to the 11 months, you have 7 additional months to finish the specialization.

Anyway, we remain at your disposal.

Message from Dr. Naienne F. C. M., from Juquia/SP – Class 477 | 05/03/2022

“Yes, I'm enjoying it. So far I've only had 1 hands-on class, in January, in Campinas. At first I'd like to make the observation that I didn't find it interesting that the classes were mixed together. I, for example, who was there for the first time, with no idea at all, felt completely lost.

Not to mention that the instructor doesn't give attention to all the classes and ends up giving attention to the subject we went there to practice, because there are many others going on at the same time. Other than that, I'm enjoying it quite a lot.”

Team Collab response

Hello, Dr. Naienne, the clinical immersion model is designed so that you encounter a reality very similar to what you would see in a real aesthetics clinic, that is, different procedures happening simultaneously, with the opportunity to practice and learn in depth about each indication, how each one is applied, and even see how patients and colleagues react to the whole environment and interactions.

Your colleagues like the practice model offered, since there are two options for scheduling your clinical immersion: one is doing the hands-on part right after finishing the theory of the corresponding subject; the other is completing all the theoretical part and then scheduling the hands-on sessions, even back to back, if dates are available.

In other words, what you possibly didn't see as interesting, your colleagues see as an opportunity to exchange experiences and meet other colleagues who are taking the specialization just like you. Expanding your network, meeting people with similar stories and sharing the same professional goals, is something that often even results in prosperous work partnerships.

We remain at your disposal to serve you better.

Message from Dr. Giovanna C. F., from Barcarena/PA – Class 444 | 05/05/2022

“I felt an improvement in how quickly grades are posted. The RJ campus was very effective and the instructors excellent.

On the positive side: I loved the hands-on and theory classes, the prepared and up-to-date faculty, and the study materials.

On the negative side: classes only on Saturdays are not quite enough; I believe that if they were on Saturdays and Sundays they would be much more complete and the instructors wouldn't have to rush to finish the class. And another point: the Injectables II practice should have more than one day and more patients and materials to be more hands-on. I feel I practiced Injectables I much more and Injectables II was not enough.

Those are my opinions! You have everything it takes to improve, you are already an excellent institution.”

Team Collab response

Dr. Giovanna, besides your study material including synchronous classes on Saturdays, you also have support material in your Study Portal, with the recorded class available to watch as many times as you need, and also forums, with chat directly with tutors and instructors to help with questions about your studies. In addition to lifetime access to all your specialization material.

In other words, other study possibilities are offered to you that you should take advantage of for your professional transformation.

We remain at your disposal for further guidance.

Responding to students' demands and requests

1. In May, the Technology and Information (IT) and Academic Registrar's Office departments opened new scheduling slots for hands-on classes in the Student Portal. Adjustments were also made to the backend for security and speed of the Study Portal.

2. In May, we closed class 495 of the Ozone Therapy Postgraduate Program and, now, at the beginning of June, we closed class 499, also Ozone. With that, we reached a milestone number for Nepuga: we opened spots for class 500. That is almost 50 thousand health professionals who decided to change their lives and transform their reality through specializations in Aesthetic and Integrative Health.

3. Spots are open for the August class of Orofacial and Surgical Harmonization (OFH) . The Postgraduate Program lasts 12 months, with a course load of 500 hours. The entire faculty of the specialization is made up of dentists who are references in the market. To introduce the instructors to the postgraduate students, since the second half of May Nepuga has been holding a series of lives with our specialist instructors covering certain procedures within Orofacial Harmonization. See the schedule below and stay tuned on Instagram @nepugaposgraduacao.
