Here are the students' most frequent complaints and Nepuga's responses

Message from Dr. Luana R. F. D. L, from Belford Roxo (RJ) – Class 486 | 08/02/2022

“I'm loving everything, so far I have nothing to complain about, except that I was barred from attending the live class because I forgot to pay the 290.00 fee. My monthly tuition was up to date, but I forgot about that fee.”

Team Collab Response

We are glad to hear that your experience with us has been positive. Regarding being barred from attending the live class, please know that we do not adopt that kind of practice at the Institution. As for the fee you mention, it is for your re-enrollment. When you enter either an undergraduate or a postgraduate program, you pay your enrollment fee, which is an amount indicating that you want that spot in the course to be yours and that you will join that class. Re-enrollment is similar: it is a fee paid to tell the institution that you will continue in that class in the next term. All the details are described in your contract and comply with the MEC (Brazil's Ministry of Education). When you do not pay the re-enrollment fee, the institution may understand that you do not wish to continue your studies in the next term.

Message from Dr. Thainá M. d. S., from Mafra (SC) – Class 482 | 08/09/2022

“I haven't had any problems so far in these 7 months. I got support whenever I needed it. This was the first time this happened on my exam, but I found the communication quite complicated, because on the Nepuga website there is a WhatsApp number that doesn't respond, and in the student center there is another one, which I only got from a classmate. And I was referred to the secretary, who already wanted to charge me for a second exam, and I had to complain to be referred to you. This time your support lacked organization.”

Team Collab Response

Hello, Dr. Thainá, our service channels are separate. For those who are not students, there is one WhatsApp service line, and for current students, the service line for the academic registrar, support and also finance is on a different WhatsApp number. Once you are logged in to your student portal, you will have access to that specific VIP line for you, as a current student, to talk to the relevant departments.

We were surprised by your question about the two service lines, since the vast majority of your classmates watched the tutorials and learned how to use the support channels and when to turn to them. That is why you all need to watch the tutorials in your portal, published on our YouTube channel, and also clear up any questions about deadlines and so on, because if you miss the deadline for an exam, a fee is indeed charged to take a new one. But it's great that you reached the right channel and resolved your issue. We hope the rest of your specialization goes smoothly.

You can check the satisfaction survey for the courses from April to June 2022 in the July Newsletter.

Responding to student requests and demands

1. This August, the Information Technology department rolled out new updates to the study portal. In the Opportunities icon, students find openings made available by the Institution and partner companies.

2. The Study Portal home page also changed, becoming more dynamic and interactive for students, showing exclusive opportunities for postgraduate students, such as course bonuses, standalone module offers and a unique opportunity for a second postgraduate program, so that students can continue their professional development within the Institution.

3. It is now easier to browse events on the website. They have been separated into categories so that they are displayed in a more organized way by topic. There you will find academic events and the procedure sessions held at the teaching clinics.

4. In August we held HOF Week, on the 17th and 18th, with an online workshop in which students saw plenty of practical demonstrations of highly profitable injectable procedures sought after by Aesthetic Health professionals, especially dental surgeons.

5. In addition, on August 20 the specialization for class 510, in Orofacial and Surgical Harmonization, got underway.

6. Students at the Uberlândia campus also had their hands-on classes, from August 6 to 17, and were able to experience the full clinical care process. Extra spots for new bookings in the city of São Paulo were also opened in August.

7. Bookings for hands-on classes at the Joinville and Fortaleza campuses are open in the student portal.
