Students' most recurring complaints and Nepuga's responses

Message dated 09/18/2023, from Ingrid A. C. Class 500, Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Biomedicine, Canoas – RS

“Terrible service. My certificate has not arrived to this day and I am losing job opportunities because of the institution.”

Team Collab response

Ingrid, vague and disparaging comments like this do not represent the opinion of most of your classmates, quite the opposite. Today, Nepuga has more than 55,000 specialized students, and the vast majority are already working in aesthetics, whether in their own offices and/or clinics, improving the quality of their lives and their patients' lives.

As for the Digital Course Completion Certificate, the deadline for issuance and delivery is up to 45 business days after the request, which is made through a form on the Student Portal. Following the institution's procedures and rules is essential to keep students treated equally. Letting everyone set their own deadlines and processes would only create inequality.

As for your comment about the risk of losing job opportunities, it is important to stress that this responsibility does not fall on Nepuga. As a professional, it is your responsibility to sell your work and negotiate with potential employers. Here, we provide the tools and the knowledge, but you are the one in control of how you present your skills and experience.

Message dated 09/20/2023, from Maria Salete S. F. Class 565,  Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Nursing, São Martinho – SC

“Actually, I wanted the course to be opened so I could start studying, since we've already paid. Why not open it right away? In the other course I had to ask for it to be opened, and I'm not the only one who needed to ask… Several classmates did. I would like our responses to be taken into consideration”.

Team Collab response

Maria, we understand that you and several classmates are asking for the course to be made available early because of your enthusiasm for the postgraduate program and your desire to make the most of the knowledge being offered to you. This attitude shows ambition and focus on reaching your professional goals as quickly as possible, qualities we value in our students.

We note that your academic record reflects an impeccable path, which leads us to offer you, in recognition of your initiative, the opportunity to take part in an additional day of clinical immersion with us, to further improve your technical skills.

However, I would like to address a similar situation that may offer a different perspective. Suppose you are the manager of an aesthetics clinic and you set a policy under which procedures are only performed with advance payment and prior scheduling. A patient arrives asking for all the supplies and PPE materials before the scheduled treatment date, arguing that they have already paid for the service and for the materials that will be used. They claim to be within their rights and mention having others who share the same opinion. As manager, would you consider granting this request?

Likewise, when you ask for course content to be made available early, you and your classmates may not be considering the entire schedule designed to ensure the order of the processes and the quality of course delivery. It is important to understand how this request can interfere with an organization established years ago that continues to work efficiently. Do you see the similarity between the situations?

Regarding the need to request that a course be opened in the Study Portal, in case of instability, please know that Technical Support is available to help resolve this problem. With so many classes and students across Brazil, system incidents are common because of the large number of simultaneous users. That is why we have a dedicated team to handle these setbacks.

We understand and take seriously all the feedback we receive, and we are always open to constructive criticism. However, we implement measures only for those that are well founded and affect most students.

You can see the Course Satisfaction Survey for the months of July through September 2022 in the October Newsletter.
