Students' most recurring complaints and Nepuga's responses

Message from 10/08/2023, from Roberta, Hybrid Intradermotherapy Course, São Paulo – SP

“I didn't feel heard in my complaint, which was the lack of teaching quality in the hands-on class I took, leaving me with the full loss of not benefiting from the most important part, which was the practice.  So I have to bear more costs to take a new course at another institution to be qualified to do what I paid to learn.”

Team Collab Response

Roberta, let's look at the context in which your remarks are set. Our instructors have dedicated years of study and specialization to provide the best possible teaching to our students. Your authority to question the competence of these professionals, who are references in their fields, is something that deserves to be weighed.

In addition, it is important to consider how a critical and dismissive stance can affect your own credibility as a professional. After all, the way you position yourself toward the institution that is training you can directly influence the trust your future patients or employers will place in you.

Our successful students are remarkable examples of the commitment and dedication they put into their training. They recognize the value of the opportunities Nepuga offers and make the most of every moment of learning, instead of focusing on unfounded criticism.

We understand you may have specific expectations about the course, but it is important to remember that we follow rules and regulations that may not please everyone but must be respected.

However, if you are facing any learning difficulty, know that we are here to help. We have the Psychoeducational Support Center (NAP) available to offer guidance and support when needed. It is worth noting that the burden of the learning effort always rests with the student. If you didn't understand something the first time, keep studying and working hard until you reach your goal. We are here to support you in this process of personal and professional development.

Message from 11/08/2023, from Thainá Samara A. M., Class 501, Postgraduate Program in Aesthetic Biomedicine, Uberlândia – MG

“I make a point of badmouthing it to everyone I meet. It's absurd to have a campus when classes are never released for the campuses. Once a year is a lot, and that's when they don't postpone it, and then they come with the story that the  minimum quorum wasn't reached and to schedule again it's only in 1 year, instead of releasing at least about 5 times to see if at least 3 can be held in the year”.

Team Collab Response

Thainá, have you had the chance to read our regulations, available on our website for all interested parties? All educational institutions follow rules and regulations, including Nepuga, an institution with years of experience and recognition in the market.

Another important point to consider is that all of your classmates have already gone to the campuses, organized themselves, and planned to take part in the in-person activities. Everyone is free to choose the unit where they wish to study. For example, some classmates from Uberlândia chose to study in Ribeirão Preto or Belo Horizonte. This mobility is a unique feature of our Postgraduate Program, giving postgraduate students the flexibility to schedule clinical immersions at different units. It is important to remember that the burden of getting to the school always rests with the student, and this is part of the commitment made when enrolling in our course.

In addition, it is essential to pay attention to the newsletters made available on the Student Portal and by email, which are our official communication channels. For example, we made dates available more than once a year for students to schedule their practical sessions in Uberlândia, and everyone was notified through these channels. Have you been following these newsletters regularly? After all, it is in your interest.

It is important to reflect on how a critical stance toward the institution that is training you can affect your credibility as a trustworthy professional. Speaking ill, without educational parameters, of the institution that will appear on your résumé can directly affect the trust your future patients or employers will place in you. Compare this with our successful students, who don't take this kind of stance, but devote their energy and time to professional development.

We understand you have specific expectations about the course, but it is important to remember that we follow rules and regulations that may not please everyone but must be respected. We are open to constructive dialogue, but it is essential to remember that our commitment is to educational excellence and to the personal and professional development of our students.
