Students' Most Frequent Complaints and Nepuga's Responses

Message from Dr. Débora C. L. T., from São Paulo (SP) – Class 528

“First of all, thank you for getting back to me. I went to my first hands-on class yesterday and loved it. I loved the instructor. Too bad there were so few models”.

Team Collab Response

“Hello, Dr. Débora, how are you? We are glad your hands-on experience was positive. As for the number of model patients, it varies. In the hands-on class model, the Clinical Immersion takes place, in which patient flow varies, just like at any other clinic. Know that we also encourage students to bring their own model patients on those days, since many friends and family members want to have a procedure done. This is an opportunity that many of your classmates take advantage of to see their first clients”.

Message from Dr. Ana Carolina Z., from Bagé (RS) – Class 485

“I just received an email with a notice canceling the clinical immersions on the 26th and 27th (1/26 and 1/27) in Porto Alegre, with less than 48 hours' notice. Well, I came back from the beach this morning, left my son with my parents, extended my vacation so I could finish the program (my last 3 classes, 1/26, 1/27 and 1/28), booked a hotel to stay in Porto Alegre on those days, and hired a driver to take me.

And with less than 48 hours before the next class, I get a cancellation notice. My impression is that all that matters is selling the course and promising students a thousand things. I have my clinic set up, just waiting for these last 3 classes to finish the program and request my certificate. I DO NOT ACCEPT finishing the postgraduate program only in April, since in the system the next available date for stage 3 is at the end of April”.

Team Collab Response

“Hello, Dr. Ana, the hands-on sessions for that specific January weekend did indeed need to be rescheduled. Our preceptor had an unexpected issue and notified the institution at the last minute. Given the situation, we decided to let everyone know as soon as possible and reopen scheduling so there would be no loss during these three days of intense learning that you spend at the Teaching Clinic. Unexpected things happen; what we can't allow is for them to interfere with your clinical immersion. Keep an eye on your portal, as new dates should already have been made available to you”.

Message from Dr. Michelle R. P., from Serra do Ramalho (BA) – Class 542

“I find it a little complicated to access the practice test and the exam; otherwise everything is fine.”

Team Collab Response

“Hello, Dr. Michelle, thank you for your feedback. Know that on our YouTube channel we have several tutorials, plus new materials in development to help you navigate the system without major hiccups. We know that for some, the interface can feel unfamiliar; however, we have made improvements to the portal, most of them rolled out in 2022, which have made navigating and using the study portal much easier. We hope your experience is always positive”.

Meeting Your Needs

1 – Dr. Ana Carolina Puga Makes a SPECIAL Appearance on Bora Podcast, One of the Biggest in the State of Minas Gerais

Ever since a Nepuga campus opened in Belo Horizonte (MG) in 2011, Dr. Ana Carolina Puga has made regular visits to the city. And last month she was invited to appear on one of the state's biggest podcast channels, Bora Podcast. On the occasion, she talked about Aesthetic Health.

Dr. Ana gave several pieces of advice to health professionals, such as this: “We have to know where we want to go and qualify as much as possible to do that, because you are responsible for the patient's life“. Read the full article.

2 – Dr. Ana Carolina Puga Visits CIOSP 2023 and Meets Former Students Who Are Now Market Leaders

CIOSP is the São Paulo International Dentistry Congress and took place from January 25 to 28. During the event, Dr. Ana met many former students, exhibitors and attendees. With her was Dr. Diogo Branco, the coordinator of the OFH postgraduate program at Nepuga. See the photos below!

“It's not only at trade shows that we gain knowledge, and not only in the postgraduate program either; it's a union and an experience – like what we offer, the hands-on clinical immersions, to bring one together with the other and come out a good professional“, said Dr. Ana.

3 – Coordinator of the Orofacial and Surgical Harmonization Postgraduate Program Is Featured in IstoÉ Magazine

Dr. Diogo Branco was interviewed by IstoÉ Magazine, a major publication in our country, to talk about two projects related to facial harmonization: HOF in Science and HOF in Safe. He explained their goals and how they will contribute to training health professionals.

OFH specialization - Dr. Diogo Branco and Dr. Thiago Moura

“Facial harmonization is a great field, but it can never be seen as something simple or trivial. Every procedure must be done with mastery and caution. Today, several professions can perform facial injectable procedures”. Learn what these projects are and how they will work.

Success Stories in Aesthetics

There is a category on the site where we share many success stories of students who took Nepuga's courses and achieved their goals. For example, a more flexible work routine, better pay and more free time for the family. Below, check out the success stories we published in January.

You can read all the details of each of these stories here.

We even have the account of an aesthetic pharmacist with a goal for the coming months: to earn 5X more than her current salary. Another pharmacist shared her story of courage, leaving behind more than 20 years of work on a CLT contract (formal employment in Brazil) in search of a greater financial return in aesthetics. Check out these and other stories!

Thank you for your attention.
