Students' most frequent complaints and Nepuga's responses
Message from Dr. Fernanda G. F., from Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – Class 479
“I enjoyed the classes and the hands-on classes were also very good. The problem is that there are few model patients. And the administrative side fell short at times, but I believe it's better now”.
Team Collab Response
Hello Dr. Fernanda. We are very happy to know you enjoyed the hands-on sessions and the experience of completing your postgraduate program. We are also grateful that you recognize the changes we have gone through to improve our service. Regarding the number of model patients, please note that from the beginning of your journey with us we made it clear that students can bring their own patients to be treated on hands-on day. Since you are experiencing the day-to-day of a real aesthetics clinic, these situations involving patient volume are to be expected.
Message from Dr. Laianie N. S. N. L., from São Bernardo do Campo (SP) – Class 476
“I think the only suggestion I would like to give is to have more Injectables II classes, with fewer students”.
Team Collab Response
“Hello, Dr. Laianie. The Injectables II class is indeed usually one of our students' favorites, as they can't wait to learn the PugaCode method in practice. As for the number of classes and students, we have years of experience and a large number of graduates, which allows us to state confidently that the number of classes offered is enough for students to leave well prepared.
But we have many students just like you who want to go deeper into the Injectables II class and end up choosing the Advanced Facial Harmonization MasterClass. That is 3 more days of immersive hands-on injectables practice, with a faculty member by your side. Our MasterClass sessions also generally have fewer students than a routine classroom, so you can complete your hands-on experience with mastery”.
Message from Dr. Fernanda G. F., from Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – Class 479
“As for the postgraduate program, I had few options for hands-on practice, because when it was released there were none for my state, and when there were, I was sick and couldn't attend. It would have been better if there were more date options for the hands-on sessions. And as for service, my questions were always answered, but the contact number keeps changing, so it is hard to keep communication going.
Team Collab Response
“Hello, Dr. Jéssica. We understand your wish to do your hands-on sessions in Brasília, for greater convenience in getting there. However, one of the things our students always praise and really enjoy is the flexibility of being able to travel to different parts of Brazil to take their hands-on classes.
We have open dates all year round, in 26 cities across the country. Attending a hands-on class is an opportunity for immersion and also to explore the aesthetics market in a region that is sometimes different from your own. In other words, you could have done your hands-on sessions in Goiânia, where we have a complete teaching clinic to serve you.
As for the specific date in Brasília, as you said yourself, scheduling was opened for your city, but you were unable to attend for personal reasons. Take advantage of the need to complete your hands-on sessions to get to know other states and see how your colleagues in Aesthetic Health are becoming specialists in different corners of the country. We hope everything went well in the end”.

Responding to student demands
1 – Dr. Ana Carolina Puga speaks at Feridas 2022 and at the Brazilian Aesthetic Nursing Congress
The topic of Dr. Ana Carolina Puga's talk was Contemporary Facial Harmonization. The Mother of Aesthetic Biomedicine spoke about the trajectory of Aesthetic Health in our country. She brought up relevant topics for the audience by mentioning the field's advances. The first one was “making it possible for nurses to work in aesthetics“. Read about the other revolutions Dr. Ana pointed out, such as the one regarding aesthetic products and procedures, as well as understanding the patient experience.

In the second part of her talk at Feridas 2022, Dr. Ana shared tips for aesthetic nurses. For example: how to assess the patient, how to find out whether they are ready for the procedures, how to raise public awareness and what the ideal result is for each patient. See the details mentioned by Dr. Ana during her presentation.
2 – The clinical immersion scheduling system is improved on the Student Study Portal
In December, Nepuga's IT (Information Technology) team made navigation on the Study Portal much more intuitive, easing the path of health professionals who are specializing in aesthetics. There were changes to the cancellation, confirmation, dates and scheduling buttons, with a focus on hands-on classes.

It is worth remembering an important piece of information: cancellations must be made at least 5 business days before the hands-on class, so it is best not to leave this change until the last minute.
3 – The Nepuga Blog offers practical tips for health professionals who want to invest in Instagram
A very common question among aesthetic biomedical professionals, aesthetic pharmacists, aesthetic nurses and other health professionals is about using Instagram in aesthetics. We created content that teaches how to build a perfect aesthetics bio. There are only 4 steps that need attention: the username, the field of practice, the description and the CTA (Call to Action).

Do you want to learn how to create the perfect bio? Go to the content.
4 – Resolution 166/2015 allows dentists to use ozone therapy
This is an integrative practice that can be adopted as long as the professional has a specialization in the field. Dr. Cynthia Heckert Brito teaches the ozone therapy and neural therapy module at Nepuga and commented on the importance of applying ozone in dental treatments. “It provides safety for the patient and for the professional who is working“.

In the HOF course (Orofacial and Surgical Harmonization), Dr. Cynthia says the modules prepare health professionals for the procedures and even for complications. He also does the clinical immersion, to learn in practice.

Success Stories in Aesthetics
There is a category on the site where we share many success stories of students who took Nepuga courses and reached a range of goals. For example, a more flexible work routine, better pay, more free time for family and so on. Below, check out the success stories we published in December.
You can read all the details of each of these stories here. We even have the account of an aesthetic pharmacist and an aesthetic physiotherapist who found financial return after specializing. An aesthetic biomedical professional, in turn, saw autonomyas the main advantage. And there was even someone who traded SAMU and hemodialysis shifts for aesthetics. Learn it all!
Thank you for your attention.
