Students' most frequent complaints and Nepuga's responses

Message from Crys R. S., from São Paulo (SP) – Class 479

“I believe the hands-on classes could be used better in terms of time. The Porto Alegre unit could have a friendlier, less rude receptionist. As for support so far, what I liked was the organization of the hands-on classes and the flexibility in scheduling classes; we really do keep learning in practice.

But the facial harmonization class, which is the most important and the one we look forward to most, fell short. I didn't learn anything in practice. The instructor does a demonstration procedure, a crowd of students gathers around filming on their phones and nobody can see anything. And she only demonstrates a few procedures.

The right thing would be to demonstrate the technique for each region, since each region takes a different filler. I'm leaving the postgraduate program with no confidence or technique at all in harmonization. I even asked to repeat that class, to watch that hands-on session again, but they didn't allow it. The person who gave me an effective response was team member Pamela Nunes”.

Team Collab Response

Hello, Crys, we are glad for your feedback. Regarding the Facial Harmonization class, please know that you can indeed attend it again. Our academic office has already been in touch to reschedule a new hands-on session so that you can get the most out of your hands-on practice. And Pâmela was able to answer all your questions.

Message from Keila R., from Porto Alegre (RS)

“In December the classes were canceled because there was no instructor. That ended up hurting me quite a lot, because it delayed my hands-on sessions.”

Team Collab Response

Hello, Keyla. We understand your frustration with the unexpected situation with the instructor that led to your classes being canceled. However, our students are told from enrollment that we offer hands-on sessions in different cities, precisely so they are free to choose the best location.

Instructors are human beings and, like everyone, are subject to setbacks. We work hard to make this happen as little as possible; however, in a situation like this, students can choose to schedule their hands-on session at any other unit, or wait for the new scheduling date in that city. The vast majority of your classmates don't see it as an obstacle to do their hands-on sessions in other cities and even other states; on the contrary, they see it as an opportunity to network and see new places.

You can check the Satisfaction Survey of the courses for the months of July to September 2022 in the October Newsletter.

5 – Mother accompanies her daughter as a model patient during all the clinical immersions

While following the clinical immersions of the injectables module in the HOF specialization, Mariana Lucera noticed that one of the model patients was a very special presence: the mother of one of the specialists in training.
